The Cali Roots Festival returns after a two-year hiatus. The 2022 festival features four days of music, activities, and community. The festival runs from Thursday, May 26th through Sunday, May 29th and is one of the most anticipated festivals near Monterey CA.

Cali Roots Music Lineup
Cali Roots features over 20 international music artists. Enjoy reggae, roots, and hip-hop music. Artists include talents such as Ice Cube, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Stick Figure, and Sublime with Rome. In addition, guests can catch performances by Rebelution, Chronixx, and Damian ‘Jr Gong” Marley.
Green Initiatives
Cali Roots partners with TripZero to offset the carbon footprint of traveling guests, staff, and fans. The festival features Bike & Skate Valet to provide green transportation for festival attendees.
Instead of using plastic beer cups that just add to the trash and plastic problem, the festival uses a Steel Pint Program. In addition, the festival encourages fans and attendees to use reusable water bottles and grab convenient water refills instead of single-use plastic bottles.
The festival is also committed to planning two redwood trees for every VIP Redwood ticket purchased and is one of the greenest festivals near Monterey CA.
Yoga and Sound Healing
On Friday and Saturday morning, you can join Ben “Good Vibes” Spellman and participate in a relaxing yoga session.
On Thursday and Saturday, join Sonic Serenity for a sound healing segment. This immersive experience features singing bowls, drums, gongs, flutes, vocals, and chants.
The Redwood Experience
VIP ticket holders can access the Redwood Lounges. VIP ticket holders can use a separate entrance with a quicker check-in, get a swag bag, and hang out in the exclusive Redwood Lounges. In the lounges, you can enjoy a variety of beer, wine, and cocktail choices in addition to free tastings.
Guests in the Redwood Lounges can participate in special activities such as photo booths and enjoy snacks like sandwiches, popcorn, and cookies.
